the phantom of the opera (in the perfect image of a priest)

I’ve never been a great artist. I can’t draw for shit — not really. But I have an eye for strange, abstract things, and for a while, created various pieces of (I don’t know if it’s art, but I like it) colour, for use on posters, album covers, etc…

I connect everything to music, and so the title for this one is stolen from a snippet of lyric fromΒ Desolation Row by Bob Dylan. I suppose I saw the phantom’s mask in there somewhere.

I used this as the cover of my album — but more on that later perhaps.

    • I’ve been juggling “BEING” Helena for over two years… I just needed to take back myself, meaning I’m no longer obligated to be Helena all the time — I have much more under my umbrella that just that.
