Yes, I’m releasing Memoirs of a Dilettante Volume Two, but in some ways I’m more excited about Penelope, Countess of Arcadia, because it’s something very new and fun and different — a Shakespearean-style play full of wit and mayhem.
And to be honest, I can see it going further than just paper. I’ve already been flirting with the idea of recording it as an audio play, and have had interested parties enthusiastically champing at the bit to be involved.
I’m very excited to share the first review — Jessica Scott won a little Facebook contest and I sent her a pre-release copy, and she devoured it last night and had this to say:
“People….you are missing out if you do not read this play. I was laughing so hard in the first few scenes that I literally fell off my bed. I was in tears. And I HAD to read it out loud. The play just screamed for a vocal reading. And that was only Act 1.”
