Memoirs of a Dilettante Volume One – Cover Teaser

Memoirs of a Dilettante Volume One - Cover Teaser

Was it Aristotle, The Pointer Sisters, or perhaps Pee Wee Herman who said: “I’m so excited, and I just can’t hide it”?

I finally have cover art for Memoirs of a Dilettante, Volume One!

Of course, there’s still the matter of formatting and finishing (which can bet your sweet patootie I’ll be working on non-stop until it’s done) but it’s looking good.

Stay tuned — realistically there’s still likely another month or so before this sees release — things take time — but I just finally found the last piece of the puzzle. It was hiding under the couch cushion, and isn’t that always the way? Some Mormons came to my door and asked me if I’d found Jesus, and I said I hadn’t, but they were welcome to help me look. Well, darlings, we didn’t find Jesus, but in all the ruckus of overturning things, voila! Cover art.

But seriously, a very big thanks to Ros Webb, the artist I’ve been working with for the last couple of months to bring visual life to Helena and the Countess Penelope of Arcadia.

So here’s just a teaser — a little slice of the artwork for your enticement, darlings.

    • We lost power yesterday morning and somehow that fried my motherboard. I don’t recall Jesus raising motherboards from the dead, but anything’s possible. Luckily, I reckon my data’s safe, but it’s going to be a few days before I can resume work on this. Very frustrating!

      • Ah nuts!!! Well that’s like a sign from god. I’m just trying to figure out which god, Is there a god of electricity?

Seriously though, that’s too bad! How frustrating! I hope everything’s still on there! (I’ll pray to the electrictiy god — as soon as I figure out who it is!)
