Last week was a short week for both Canadians and Americans. We Canadians took the Monday, while Americans took Thursday (and some were even lucky enough to take Friday off). Me, I was sick most of the week, and to top it off, a co-worker was on holiday, so I had to cover her workload as well as my own.
All this is just to say that I am exhausted, and still recovering, and very far behind in my work, my life, my friendships, my writing, etc..
There just isn’t enough time in the day for me to do what I need to do, let alone what I want to do. Don’t the hours grow shorter as the days go by?
I am taking this moment now just to vent, and to beg your pardon for not yet finishing up either the California story or the Halesowen story — both kind of end begging for more to be told. Well, it’s all about the anticipation, darlings, and I promise that neither tale is far from my mind, and I will find time to finish them soon.
